Rachel Takeuchi is a London-based photographer working across portraiture, editorial and lifestyle photography. She creates images that feel both visually considered and emotionally authentic, with a particular interest in identity, connection and the stories that shape how we see ourselves and one another.

After fifteen years in business and technology, Rachel turned to photography as a second career. Becoming a mother of three and living alongside disability through her husband's spinal cord injury profoundly shaped her perspective, deepening her interest in the relationships that define us and the ways people navigate identity, change and belonging.

Working across commercial commissions and personal projects, she photographs with a strong narrative sensibility and a focus on human connection.
